Apr 17, 2018She was born April 9, 1943 in Red Mountain, California.She traveled around a lot as a kid because of her father’s construction employment. She spent time in Oregon, Washington, Nevada, California and Idaho. It was while living in Oakley she met her future husband, Laroy Mabey. They were married on November 8, 1963 in Oakley and later sealed with their children in the Los Angles Temple on November 8, 1969. After they were married, they spent time in Burley where she worked at Ore Ida. They then moved to Montana for a short time and then back to Idaho eventually to Oakley where she has since resided until her death.She was a hard worker, working in several plants including Ore Ida; Simplots; McCains; and AP&P. Donna was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to crochet and sew. She was known for sewing doll clothes for her grandchildren.Donna is survived by her husband Laroy of Oakley; her children, Kevin (Wendy) Mabey of Vancouver, Washington; Cindy (Daniel) Flemming of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Six grandchildren also survive her; three brothers, Ron Wilkinson of Burley, Rusty (Dorothy) Wilkinson of Jerome, Glenn (Susan) Wilkinson of Burley.She was preceded in death by her son Greg, and her parents.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Oakley Stake Center in Oakley. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert and from 10:00 until 10:45 am Monday at the Church prior to the funeral.
